Our summer programme is an essential part of our recruiting efforts. The programme allows law students to work at Miranda for a maximum of 2 months during the school summer break. Summer programme participants are introduced to the people that make up Miranda, and are familiarised with its history, policies and culture. At a work level, students are broadly exposed to all our practice areas and departments. We work hard to provide our summer programme participants a realistic sense of what attorney life at Miranda is and what the work demands and expectations are. Participants are given work assignments for real client matters whenever this is appropriate, and have the opportunity to work closely with different attorneys. Each participant is assigned to a partner who will serve as the principal contact point during the program period. Our expectation is that those participants who show talent and work commitment may join Miranda later as trainees when they complete their law degree.
