• Drafting a report on the responsibility regime derived from the derailment of a local service train in the North of Portugal, notably on the allocation of responsibility between the track management company and the train operator;

• Carrying out a major study on the regulatory regime applicable to incidents and accidents with freight trains in Portugal, in particular on the extent of powers held by the track management company to audit the loading and safety conditions of freight rolling stock and on the responsibility regime;

• Advising Portugal's railway infrastructure management company on preparing a network statement and setting up a charging model, including economic regulation of charges;

• Advising a Government department in Portugal on the legal options available to launch a light rail project, involving a Design, Build, Finance and Manage contract, for the construction or refurbishment of the infrastructure, the renting of tram-train rolling stock and the transport operation;

• Advising a railway infrastructure management company on track access for transport operating companies and drafting access agreements for freight and passenger transport on specific parts of the rail network;

• Advising a railway infrastructure management company on the regulatory framework for the supply of traction energy to transport operating companies, including advice on the railway and the electricity sectors regulations;

• Advising and representing a multipurpose transport terminal management company on the regulation of the train and metro stations components, bus terminals and commercial areas;

• Representing a major shipping agency in negotiating the termination of an agency agreement with a shipping line, including on the transfer of staff allocated to the line;

• Assisting and advising a Government agency in Portugal in setting up a centralised public procurement system, including on the definition of scope, processes, recourse to electronic RfQs, e-catalogues, e-tendering and e-auctions, etc; 

• Advising a Swiss based pharmaceutical company on pharmaceutical prices and discounts regulation, in the context of sales to pharmacies. The advice focused on a legal opinion on providing discounts or bonuses on the sale of pharmaceutical products to pharmacies and lawfulness thereof;

• Advising a Portuguese natural gas company on pricing regulation.
