The UK West Africa Action Group ("UK - WAAG") will be organizing a conference dedicated to Angola to be held in Aberdeen on 29 June. Miranda Partner João Afonso Fialho will be a guest speaker at the event and will be focusing on the steps to be taken by companies wishing to invest in this African country. The initiative will take place at Hilton Treetops Hotel and will be presided by Gary Hance, Director of Group Operational Development, ATPI (The Advanced Travel Partner). The UK – WAAG is an industry-led organization run under the auspices of Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce. Since its inception the UK WAAG has heightened awareness of opportunities in West Africa's growing oil and gas sector, promoted the UK's expertise and capabilities and assisted its members in entering these markets.
