Miranda was ranked Energy Law Firm of the Year in the 2009 edition of legal directory "Quem é Quem nas Sociedades Portuguesas de Advogados" published by Portuguese business daily newspaper Diário Económico. The award was decided by a jury of 79 lawyers from major law firms in Portugal.
