Miranda has announced that it has reinforced its Tax Department with Susana Barahona Ferreira, the team’s most recent lateral hire.

Susana moves from Deloitte where she was Tax Manager of the International Corporate Division. Her career began in 1997 with F. Castelo Branco, P. Rebelo de Sousa & Associados – Portuguese Legal Group, where she focused mainly on Corporate and Tax Law, particularly in the telecommunications sector. In 2000, she joined the Tax Division of Arthur Andresen, which later merged with Deloitte. During the course of the last few years, she worked as a tax consultant and advised both Portuguese and international clients in a wide range of business sectors, carried out tax compliance activities and was involved in major international operations which included structuring and implementing Portuguese groups’ investment abroad. She is a graduate of the Portuguese Catholic University Law School and obtained a post-graduate degree in Taxation from the Institute for Finance and Tax Studies (IESFF).
