Susana Barahona Ferreira (born 1973), Senior Associate. Graduate of the Lisbon Law School of the Portuguese Catholic University (1997). Admitted in 2000. Joined the Firm in 2010.

After completing her law studies, Susana joined F. Castelo Branco, P. Rebelo de Sousa & Associados – Grupo Legal Português as a trainee, where she obtained experience in tax matters and corporate law, particularly in the telecommunications industry. 

In 2000, Susana moved to the tax division of Arthur Andersen, later merged with Deloitte. Her practice included advising Portuguese and international clients in various industries and tax compliance work. At Deloitte, Susana was Manager of the International Corporate Tax Department, being involved in major cross-border transactions, including implementation of outbound investment structures for large Portuguese groups.

Susana has a post-graduation in Tax Law from the IESFF Institute.

Susana is a regular contributor to several Portuguese and international publications with articles on tax matters. She is frequently invited to speak in several seminars and conferences.

Susana is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
