In order to allow private investors to have a simplified and priority access to Public Administration services, as per article 26 of Law No. 10/18, of 26 June, Presidential Decree No. 167/20, of 15 June, has created a new investment desk, Janela Única do Investimento (JUI).

JUI is a mechanism created to facilitate investment, through which the Agency for Private Investment and Promotion of Exports of Angola (AIPEX) will centralise all the operations associated with the undertaking of an investment. AIPEX will, on the behalf of the investor, and in a simplified manner, obtain all pertinent authorisations and services necessary for the implementation of investment projects from the relevant public administrative bodies, which shall be done in accordance with the conditions and deadlines established in each Project Execution Schedule.

This mechanism will be implemented through a digital platform, that will ensure the interoperability between the digital platforms of different public services.
