The Timor-Leste National Petroleum and Minerals Authority (ANPM) has today announced that the deadline for the country’s second oil & gas licensing round, launched on 3 October 2019, has been extended by a year to October 2021.

As previously announced, 18 blocks are being offered (7 onshore and 11 offshore), including areas previously included in the Joint Petroleum Development Area.

Pre-qualification is currently open, and it is expected that additional information will be forthcoming soon.
