During the meeting of the National Security Council chaired by President Alassane Ouattara on Thursday, 14 May 2020, and after reviewing the evolution of the pandemic in the country, the following decisions were announced:

The Ivorian President has declared the State of Emergency and announced further measures to fight the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country:

Côte d’Ivoire – COVID-19 Measures Announced
In Côte d’Ivoire, the President has just announced measures to fight the spreading of Coronavirus (COVID19) in the country. Accordingly, during 15 days starting on 16 March (up and until 1st April), all non-Ivorians arriving from any country with more than 100 confirmed cases of COVID19 will be barred from entering the country and any suspected cases from other countries will be quarantined upon arrival.
